How can I have someone else receive my reminders if I’m unavailable?
Eternal Reminder allows you to set a backup contact so your reminders can still be received and acted on if you’re unavailable—or after you’ve passed away.
You can add a backup email address in your account settings. When a reminder is sent, you’ll have 10 days to confirm it. If no confirmation is received within that time, the reminder will automatically be forwarded to your backup email address.
This person will then receive the same reminder and can reserve the temple work for that ancestor.
Setting a backup contact is also useful if you’re traveling, temporarily unable to check email, or want to ensure that temple work continues even if you can’t respond yourself.
To add or update your backup email, sign in at eternalreminder.org, go to “My Account,” and enter the address of the person you’d like to receive reminders on your behalf.
