How do I add a reminder?
Creating a reminder in Eternal Reminder takes only a few minutes. Once set up, you’ll receive an email on your ancestor’s 110th birthday to remind you that temple work can now be requested.
Steps to add a reminder
- Sign in to eternalreminder.org using your FamilySearch account.
- In FamilySearch, find the ancestor you want to set a reminder for.
- Copy their FamilySearch ID (a combination of letters and numbers, usually found near their name).
- Return to Eternal Reminder and paste the ID number into the new reminder page
- Click to save your reminder.
That’s it. Eternal Reminder will automatically calculate your ancestor’s 110th birthday and send you an email on that date.
